I am a queer, agender, neurodivergent immigrant from the United States living in Portugal. I fled violence and political oppression with my queer and trans family and am very happy to be here and want to become involved in my new community. I am trying to learn Portuguese and also speak some German, French, and a small amount of Spanish. I have extensive nonprofit and political experience, which I am happy to detail if it's of interest to anyone. Some of that nonprofit experience is in the field of sexual health and reproductive rights, and I used to write a monthly sex and relationships advice column for a magazine.

Before that, I was a journalist focused on sex, gender and LGBTQ+ issues. I’ve written for Vice, Slate, GQ, WIRED, Out, The Daily Beast, Broadly, MEL, and the Stranger, among others.
In 2021, I won an award from the NGLJA (National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Association) for excellence in business coverage and was nominated for a GLAAD award.As a copywriter, I’ve worked on progressive political campaigns and for corporate clients like Google. I’m skilled at email marketing, headline writing, copywriting, editorial strategy and social media.
