The neighborhood is hosting our first ever Barnard Ave Block Party on Saturday September 27 from 1 - 8 PM to commemorate Helene and celebrate the community we created afterward. 

Join us for an afternoon of fun, music, games, food, and bringing people together. This will be a BYO event: bring your own chair, food, beverages, cooler, small table, etc. We will have some large tables setup but you’re welcome to bring your own as well. We will also have a porta potty!

Barnard Ave will be CLOSED between both ends of Lee Ave from 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturday 9/27 

16 Barnard to 98 Barnard Ave will be affected by this closure

Lee Ave is the perfect detour around the closure. All residents will be reminded multiple times via flyer and email well before the event.

By attending the Barnard Ave Block Party event, you acknowledge and agree that participation is voluntary and at your own risk. The organizers, hosts, volunteers, sponsors, and property owners assume no responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property that may occur before, during, or after the event.

Parents/guardians are solely responsible for the supervision of their children at all times. Attendees are expected to act responsibly, follow event guidelines, and be respectful of neighbors and public spaces.

By entering the event area, you release and hold harmless the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and property owners from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from participation in this event.

Attendance constitutes agreement to these terms.
