MEET THE 2025-2026 PTO BOARD

Maria Meyers, President

Has a senior in high school, 7th and 8th grader
CTBS Board Member for four years
WFS 5th Grade Committe 22-23, WFS Class mom for many years
Has volunteered at many events at WFS

Avani Shah, Vice President

Has a sophomore in high school & 7th grader
Has volunteered at many events at WFS

Trish Dempsey, Treasurer

Has a 7th grader and 5th grader
Previously served on the LDS PTO executive board as Treasurer
Has chaired many events at LDS

Jen DeProssimo, Recording Secretary

Has a 7th grader and a 5th grader
Previously served on the LDS PTO executive board as Vice President
Has chaired & volunteered many events at LDS

Jen Gervasi Simonetti, Corresponding Secretary

Has a freshman in high school and twin 7th graders
has served on the executive board at LDS, volunteered at many events
Assisted at a variety of different local sports teams and extracurricular activites such as Girt Scouts of the Jersey Shore

WHY WE ARE HERE

The Clifton T. Barkalow School PTO (Parent/Teacher Organization) exists to support CTBS students and teachers by building a strong school community, offer fun programs, and help to provide support wherever we can. We make that happen by fundraisers and your generous support. We hope that this will be a wonderful year for both you and your children. We would like to invite you to get involved with our organization!

The CTBS PTO is a non-profit organization made up of parents, teachers, and administrators who are all committed to working together to provide support for both educational and extracurricular activities, promote positive, open communication between staff and parents, encourage school spirit and pride and most of all, enhance the educational experience of our children.
