1 mile fun run/walk, "Doga" (Dogs + yoga), pet village, pet contests, dog play party and more!

Come "Bark for the Park” on Saturday, September 14th at Whitney Park! Participate in "Doga" (yoga with dogs), a 1 mile fun-run/walk event with your dog through the Whitney Park Neighborhood, or both! After the run/walk participants will have the opportunity to enjoy pet-friendly activities and contests, explore the pet vendor village, mingle over some beers, enjoy an assortment of snacks and refreshments for both owners and dogs, and of course THE PARK!

It is not required to have a dog to participate in this event! All are welcome to support this great cause!

Proceeds will go towards maintaining, improving, and upgrading the park by adding amenities such as lighting, landscaping, more seating, picnic tables, and umbrellas for owners, and more dog equipment.

This year Lucky 7 Dog Recuse will be the beneficiary of the event! There mission is to "educate individuals on proper animal care and adoption practices. Provide resources for animals and our community when in need. Inspire volunteers by providing a safe place to get involved in the community of Animal Welfare." When registering consider making an additional donation to their program and a portion of the proceeds will also go to supporting their mission!
