Collaborative Research & Scholarship☑ Co-authored a thematic literature review examining doctoral persistence among “All But Dissertation” candidates using thematic and AI-assisted qualitative methodologies.
Research Agenda Development☑ Establish a scholarly research agenda focused on digital equity, educator persistence, alternative-route teacher preparation, instructional coaching, and educational technology leadership.
Grant Writing & Implementation☑Co-authored and edited the successful $235,000 NJDOE-funded Paraprofessional Pathway Project grant proposal at Kean University and contribute to its implementation through certification advising, workforce development, and educator pipeline initiatives.
Scholarly Manuscript Development☑Develop a scholarly manuscript examining doctoral persistence, educator development, and scalable coaching frameworks for alternative-route educators.

I had the opportunity to present at the New Jersey Educational Computing Cooperative (NJECC) Conference alongside Joeline Sanders and Chamar Coursey on “Simulation-Based Learning: From the Classroom to Corporate.” My presentation explored how educational technology and simulation-based learning can bridge classroom instruction and corporate training environments. Through interactive discussion and reflection, we examined strategies for connecting theory to practice, designing meaningful learning experiences, leading with empathy, and strengthening collaboration across educational and professional contexts.

I successfully delivered my first doctoral webinar in the Educational Technology Leadership program, “Culturally Responsive Teaching & Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Practices in the Era of AI,” alongside Joeline (Cohort 13), Jamaal (Cohort 12), and Jacqueline (Cohort 11). My session explored how sustainable coaching, culturally responsive pedagogy, and SEL can foster meaningful professional growth while ensuring learners feel seen, supported, and empowered in an evolving AI-driven educational landscape.
