Hobbies

I enjoy various kind of music such as electronic music or jazz, however my favorite genre is classical music, both Western and Turkish. I learned to play recorder and piano in school but settled for kanun. Recently I am also learning to play classical kemençe.

I am also interested in languages and literature. I’ve been organizing a book club in Zürich since 2021; we meet every other month over dinner to discuss a book from Turkish, Swiss, or world literature.
