Banking Knowledge Hub Privacy Policy

Developer: Sparkle Infotech Apps
---
Overview
Banking Knowledge Hub ("the App") helps you learn banking and finance concepts through offline, self-graded quizzes.
---
Information We Collect
The application gathers no personal information and requires no account or login credentials. Data retained locally includes:
- Onboarding status — whether you've completed the introductory screens.
- Quiz progress — which questions you've answered and self-graded.
- App preferences — a timestamp used to periodically check for app updates.
This data remains on your device only and is never transmitted to us. Separately, the App displays ads via Google AdMob, which collects its own device identifiers for that purpose — see the "Advertising" section below for details.
---
How We Use This Information
This information is used exclusively to run the App's quiz and progress-tracking features on your device. We do not use it for profiling, and we do not sell or share it with third parties. Device advertising identifiers used for ad serving are handled by Google AdMob as described below, separately from this locally-stored data.
---
Where This Information Is Stored
All data is stored locally on your device using standard on-device app storage. No company servers receive or retain this data.
---
Third-Party Services
The App uses two third-party services:
- apps.sparkleinfotech.com — contacted periodically to check for app version updates. No personal information or device identifiers are transmitted.
- Google AdMob — used to display ads within the App. See the "Advertising" section below for what this involves.
---
Advertising
Banking Knowledge Hub uses Google AdMob to show ads (banner and interstitial ads) within the App. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers, such as your Advertising ID, to serve and measure ads. This data is transmitted securely and is used only for advertising purposes.
AdMob's data collection and use is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
If you are in the EEA or UK, you will be shown a consent form on first launch asking for your permission before any ad-related data is collected, in line with GDPR requirements.
You can reset or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID, or Opt out of Ads Personalization).
---
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
---
Your Choices
Users may reset data through Settings → Reset all data or by uninstalling. Ad personalization can be managed separately in device settings, as described in the Advertising section above.
