My name is Bane Apollo Campos (He/Him). I'm a queer Puerto Rican artist with a love for all things historic. I believe in the magic and transformative power of tattooing, and love to connect others with the ancient ritual of body modification that is uniquely human.
I specialize in American Traditional + Folk Americana tattoos, and take particular interest in tattooing anything Pin Up, Western, Vintage 1890-1940, Celtic, Floral, Medieval/Fantasy, Woodcut, and Hunting related. I am colorblind and prefer to work in a limited palette. I've been an artist all my life, and I have been tattooing since 2022 and look forward to a lifetime of learning.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Art History with a minor in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville in 2019. I've recently traded my slow southern swamps in Savannah GA for the cornfields of the Midwest, and am adjusting to life away from the ocean alongside my 2 cats and loving partner. You can often find me painting tattoo flash, cross stitching, or antiquing.
