Blur is a rock band from England, Started in 1988, Damon Albarn Singer, Graham Coxon Guitarist, Alex James Bass Guitarist and Dave Rowntree Drummer. They gained prominence in the early 1990s as part of the Britpop movement, which also included bands like Oasis and Pulp.

Breakthrough

Their breakthrough came with the 1994 album Parklife, featuring hits like "Girls & Boys" and "Parklife." This success was followed by The Great Escape (1995), which cemented their place in the Britpop era with tracks like "Country House."

Late 90s - 2000s

In the late 1990s, Blur’s sound evolved, incorporating more experimental elements. Their 1999 self-titled album and the 2003 album Think Tank showcased a shift towards alternative and electronic influences. Tensions within the band led to a hiatus, during which members pursued solo projects.

Reunion

Blur reunited in 2009 and continued to release new music, including the critically acclaimed album The Magic Whip (2015). They remain influential, known for their evolving sound and significant contributions to British music.
