Practical Information
Transportation to campus. There are two options:
You can take a taxi directly from Esenboğa Airport (ESB) to METU Guesthouse. The trip is about 45 km long and costs 220 TL (=14 Euros; 1 Euro = 15.95 TL as of late April 2022).
Or:
You can take HAVAŞ (airport shuttle) from Esenboğa Airport (ESB) to AŞTİ (Ankara Bus Terminal) and then take a taxi from AŞTİ to METU Guesthouse. HAVAŞ costs 16 TL (=1 Euro) and the taxi ride, which is about 9 km long, costs 50 TL (=3 Euros).
Accommodations. All speakers will be hosted at METU Guesthouse. Breakfast is included.
Lunches and dinners: Lunches will be offered to the participants at the university cafeteria. For dinners, there are several restaurants at the small shopping center on campus. This shopping center is within walking distance of both the Guesthouse and the Department of Mathematics.
Conference Dinner: There will be a conference dinner. Details will be announced later.
Currency exchange: The best option is to use the currency exchange office at the airport. There is no exchange office on campus.
