Jamie e o Rayo de Sol is an original classic rock project from Ceará that blends seasoned stage presence, a signature repertoire, and a refined artistic identity. Featuring poetic lyrics and striking arrangements, the band celebrates rock’n’roll with a free-spirited approach, creating a powerful dialogue between Brazilian songwriting and the timeless roots of global rock.

The lineup features Jamie Barteldes (vocals), Rayo de Sol (guitar), Ed Romat (bass), and Marcus Rabelo (drums)—a group of musicians with extensive professional backgrounds. The same members also perform as The Shout Beatles Celebration, a prominent project in the Fortaleza scene with performances at iconic venues such as Concha Acústica da UFC, Estação das Artes, and Centro Cultural Belchior, in addition to a long-standing partnership with the radio program Frequência Beatles.

The original project evolved from intimate writings into songs that explore love, daily life, and metaphysical reflections, drawing inspiration from icons like Os Mutantes, The Beatles, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band’s growth was solidified by their selection for the prestigious Festival Rock Cordel, where they received critical acclaim and expanded their media presence on programs like Mercado da Arte (TV Ceará) and Qual o Tom do Ceará? (Rádio ALECE).

In 2026, the band reached a new professional milestone after being selected for the Feira da Música showcases, standing out in a highly competitive national selection process. This immersion in the music market led to more strategic career management and the preparation for a new cycle of releases.

Consolidating this new phase, the group is preparing to drop the single “Eu mereço”, which will hit streaming platforms alongside the re-release of their first album featuring the full band formation.
