This is an incredible song with a hilariously brilliant marketing strategy behind it. It has even created a social media trend of SIPPY fans asking her to rate bananas in various states of ripeness or decay, as well as response videos of people wearing absurd banana-oriented costumes and outfits. I never thought that a critical account of the ripeness and patterns of bananas would make for such an excellent dubstep track. Nicely done, SIPPY! You flawlessly executed an April Fools Prank-oriented release, which I will never forget falling for 100%.

"Chiclete com banana" is a song written by Gordurinha [pt] and Almira Castilho and recorded in 1959 by Jackson do Pandeiro, who popularized the song. The title means "chewing gum and banana," which refers to American and Brazilian music.

The lyrics, states the singer's fantasy of seeing American and Brazilian music joined, bebop in samba, Uncle Sam playing the tamborim, a small folk drum. Uncle Sam has to learn that samba isn't rhumba (a Cuban dance). The singer will, in his or her samba, join two iconic places: Miami with Copacabana, and two iconic products, Chiclets with bananas. Uncle Sam, playing a frigideira (a metal percussion instrument based on a frying pan), should join a Brazilian batucada, a percussion group.

The song has, as is not uncommon in samba, a nostalgic air. It was in the first half of the twentieth century when Chiclets were a well-known American product in Brazil. It is frequent in samba lyrics that the singer discusses what musical or cultural style went into his samba.

Got these phones for other people. I think they're funny. I watched "Get Smart" when I was a kid. Reminds me of that show. Maxwell Smart had a shoe phone but I think a Banana phone is funnier. Don't feel like reviewing the 2nd phone same as thus phone.

Cover and store cooled banana nut bread at room temperature for 2 days. The flavors will actually intensify as the bread sits! If your bread has started to stale, brush both sides with butter and toast in a skillet until slightly caramelized before serving.

Tightly wrap the completely cooled loaf or slices in aluminum foil and place in a resealable freezer bag. Butter Pecan Banana Bread can be frozen for up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for a few hours. If thawing an entire loaf, you can also refresh the loaf by popping into a 325F oven for about 10 minutes.

Reacher is pulled into the mystery when Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) sends him a series of telling checking account deposits: first, $110, which stands for the 110th MP Special Investigations Unit, and $1,030, which is the military police radio code equivalent to S.O.S. Upon calling Neagley, Reacher learns that a former MP colleague, who's integral to Jack Reacher's military backstory, was murdered. After meeting up in Manhattan, Reacher and Neagley visit the late Calvin Franz's widow and son, hoping to pay their condolences and gather more information. It's at the Franz house that Reacher and Neagley encounter another oddity: the "I'd Like A Banana" song.

Reacher season 2 centers on the former members of Reacher's 110th Special Investigations Unit. Among these ex-MP officers is Calvin Franz (Luke Bilyk), whose death sets the sophomore season's central narrative into motion. Although Franz is thrown from a helicopter in the cold open, viewers learn a bit more about the character as the episode progresses. Reacher recruited Franz because of his ability to pacify people. After leaving the Army, Franz became a private investigator, but, unlike Reacher, he settled down with his wife and young son. Reacher and Neagley's drive to visit Franz's family is interrupted when the show cuts to a close-up of a TV screen.

Musicians, who are dressed in bargain-bin monkey costumes, play a song called "I'd Like A Banana." Reacher and Neagley stand in the family's living room, weighed down by the seriousness of the moment, while Franz's son watches the TV intently. Although it seems like a gag invented for the episode, "I'd Like A Banana" is a real song by a band called the FunkeyMonkeys. The music video for the track is scripted like an episode of TV and sees Monkey Josh asking everyone he knows for a banana. In a heavy Reacher season 2 episode, the banana song certainly provides some levity.

I'm a Banana reached it's search height at February 2010, and saw slight spikes in January and October of 2011. Banana song has also been higher, and had a large spike in April-May 2005, probably because this was the height of the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" meme.

I always like to have a breakfast bread or muffin on hand when we have company. These muffins are great when the family is over for the holidays. And because I had more than enough ripe bananas on hand I figured why not try making muffins with my traditional banana bread recipe in a muffin pan?

I decided to bake these as a reward for my high school students and I decreased the flour to 1 & 1/2 cups and added 1 tsp of baking powder and 1/2 cup of sour cream to add to their already moist texture.. my students loved them! Thank you!!

I just roughly put this recipe into my fitness pal. I used 1 cup of coconut flour and 1 cup of gluten free flower and everything else the same. I made larger muffins and did 9. For 12 muffins each muffin is 224 calories, 26C, 11F, 6P are the macros! 152ee80cbc
