BCF has taken over where the government is negligent in the community and continues to do so. We want them to be reimbursed for resources that were given to organizations for migrant aid and given additional resources to help with emergencies in the future.
We are not a non-profit immigrant rights organization- but we know quite a few of them in NYC. We are also NOT a migrant mutual aid group- we share the politics- but want to add more nuance and consciousness to our work. Our goal is to organize a rapid response network of individuals and organizations of all kinds that can answer to specific special needs of African and Arab migrants as a practice of solidarity between our communities. Together we are stronger!

We are united in fighting against anti-Black, anti-Arab xenophobic practices. There is enough space and resources for all of us.
