Lindsay Ciocco grew up a Buckeye in Columbus, Ohio and completed both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees at The Ohio State University. She was selected for the Army Health Professional Scholarship Program, and after graduating optometry school in 2010, served four years on active duty as a staff optometrist at Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center in Fort Meade, Maryland. She completed an optometric residency program in Ocular Disease and Surgical Co-management at a multispecialty referral and surgical co-management center in 2015. Afterwards, she practiced at Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute in the Comprehensive Eye Care division. Dr. Ciocco joined the attending team at the Baltimore VA in 2021. She has lectured locally and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.Â
