Group classes are limited to 6-8 and private classes are limited to 1-2 curious minds for live model practice. The Sugaring Fundamental Training will consist of Sugaring theory, and techniques on legs, arms, chest, back, & bikini area. The Advanced Sugaring Training will consist of female and male intimate area "Brazilian", and full face (chin, lip, & eyebrows). 

We will cover theory, sanitation, & best business practices to successfully incorporate sugaring in your thriving businesses.

2-Day Group Session will be held Sundays & Mondays

1-Day Private Session will be held on Tuesdays

*All training courses have an in-person and online section. Our Fundamental Sugaring Training Course is 2 days in person training and has an additional 4 weeks of follow up online training. The Advance Sugaring Training Course is one day and has additional 2 weeks follow up online training.

*Certification of Completion of training will not be provided until after completion of Live & Online course work.

Janice C. Hughes 

(thee Baltimore Sugarista)


Janice C. Hughes, LMT,LE (the Baltimore Sugarista)  is the Award Winning Sugaring Artist of the Year 2022-2023 for Skin Games. Janice is based in the Baltimore, Maryland area where she is CEO/Founder of Haute Healin’ Handz. She has been sugaring since 2020 and completely in love with the process.

Janice is dual licensed in Massage Therapy and Esthetics. She is no stranger to the wellness community. Janice is an alumni of Coppin State University with a BA in Sports Medicine and minor in Nonprofit Leadership. She also a graduate of Cortiva Institute Massage class of 2017 and Skin Care programs class of 2019.

Ms. Hughes specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Trigger Point, and Prenatal and Postpartum massage. She believes in growth and beginning to be open minded to change.

Erika Darden

(the Sugar slinger)

I am a dual licensed massage therapist and esthetician who has enjoyed the spa and wellness field for over 15 years. 

I graduated from Medix School Towson (now Fortis) in 2008. I have developed my own intuitive, steady, gentle and effective style. My focus is to help you focus on your mind and body.  I also perform cupping, and IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage) in my bodywork and skincare. I have also developed a neck and shoulder technique that addresses postural discomfort and rotator cuff stiffness. I attended Aveda Institute in 2019 to expand my knowledge beyond the muscle into skincare.

 I listen carefully to my clients and work with them holistically to address their discomfort or concerns. It is important to communicate and learn what your preferences are, what your lifestyle is and how you may continue to be well between services.
