My name is AnnMarie. I was born and raised in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin. I attended my first walk and eat tour with my sisters, our mother, and our nieces in Nashville, TN in 2018. Since my initial food tour, I began to wonder how I could showcase our local businesses here in Balsam Lake.  Food and entertaining have always been apart of my life. My mother and two of her friends had a catering business when I was a young girl. This is where I learned about good food and how to properly work in the service industry.  

In January of 2024, I attended another walk and eat tour while in Nashville with a group of friends. This is when I decided that this adventure could actually come true. I am so excited to branch out  from my normal job, as a high school math teacher, and share our wonderful town with you this summer!
