From Classroom Creativity to Small Business: A Journey of Personalized Art

My creative journey began with crafting personalized keychains for my students, a small gesture that sparked a wave of artistic requests. As my students' enthusiasm grew, so did my repertoire. Initially creating keychains tailored to their individual preferences, I expanded into custom-designed earrings, responding to a growing demand for unique accessories. This led to the creation of personalized charm bracelets.

Among my early designs were teacher-themed earrings, including whimsical pencil and apple motifs adorned with custom names. Sharing these creations on social media platforms like Facebook generated significant interest, prompting the launch of my Etsy shop. This marked the beginning of a thriving small business, fueled by the positive reception of my handcrafted items.

Today, I operate my business across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Etsy, and TikTok, offering a diverse range of personalized keychains and earrings.

Balancing a demanding teaching career with the demands of a growing business presents its challenges. I dedicate my free time to crafting and fulfilling orders, often necessitating the temporary closure of my Etsy shop during the academic year to effectively manage my workload. Despite these constraints, I remain committed to honing my craft and providing high-quality, personalized art pieces to my customers.
