Formed in 1998 to develop and manage small industrial units in Ballinamallard to house existing and start up business’s. Four Units were initially built followed by five additional units in 2007. The refurbishment and management of the old railway station site also falls within the remit of the Enterprise Company.
Situated on the Enniskillen Road Ballinamallard Enterprise Company provide workspace of over 15000 sq ft incorporating 9 new industrial units for business development and an office complex. A substantial extension to industrial units in Ballinamallard that has created up to ten new jobs was opened on Friday 30th November 2007 by Alexander Smyth, Joint Director General of the International Fund for Ireland and Councillor Alex Baird, Chairman of Fermanagh District Council.
The project has been funded by the International Fund for Ireland, which has contributed £250,000 to the scheme, Fermanagh District Council in association with the European Regional Development Fund through the Building Sustainable Prosperity programme, which has granted £232,000, Fisher Engineering which has contributed £5,000 and Fermanagh Trust which has granted £5,000. The remainder of the funding has been raised by the Group.
Ballinamallard Enterprise Company was established in 1998 to promote economic development through the provision of affordable workspace units and create much needed community facilities in the Ballinamallard area.

Ernie Fisher, Chairman of Ballinamallard Enterprise Company, said: “Without the help of major funders such as The International Fund For Ireland, Fermanagh District Council and the European Regional Development Fund we would not have been able to provide these additional workspace units.
“As a result of completion of this project we will have brought much needed employment and necessary services to our local community. The rental income from this additional workspace will be used to fund further projects within the village of Ballinamallard in the future.
