Tony is a member of the Law Society’s Property Law Environmental, Planning and Development Committees. He has been a member of the Re‑Draft Committees for the editions of the Contract for the Sale of Land since 1992, and the editions of the Contract for the Sale of Business since 2000.

 He was a co-author with Russell Cocks and Paul Gibney of the first NSW edition of 1001 Conveyancing Answers, and the co-author with Gary Newton of Conveyancing Service New South Wales and Annotated Conveyancing and Real Property Legislation New South Wales, both published by LexisNexis Butterworths.

 Tony has been a part-time lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney, in construction law, property transactions, legal studies, and real estate law, and has lectured at the Sydney and Northern Sydney Institutes of TAFE, the College of Law and the Law Extension Committee in various law subjects.

Simone Herbert-Lowe is a lawyer with more than 30 years of experience across private practice, corporate legal and insurance.   She is the founder of Law & Cyber, specialising in cyber resilience and privacy advisory for legal and professional services businesses.

As a former Senior Claims Solicitor at Lawcover, she handled more than 2,000 notifications against law firms of all sizes.  She now helps practices build practical, defensible frameworks around privacy, data governance and cyber resilience, and as a small business owner she and understands the pressures on small practices.

Peter is a Partner in the Insurance Team at Colin Biggers & Paisley with expertise in the defence of claims against solicitors and other professionals. 

He was a Lawcover Panel Solicitor for over 33 years. During that time, he regularly presented papers and seminars to the legal profession and conducted training sessions for lawyers throughout NSW on good practice and risk management. 

Peter also practices in the areas of Estate Litigation - primarily in family provision and testamentary capacity disputes - for charitable organisations. He is also a Senior Member of both the Occupational Division and the Consumer & Commercial Division of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT).

Gary Newton is a Partner in HWL Ebsworth’s Sydney Real Estate and Projects team and an accredited specialist in property law since 1994. With over 40 years of experience, Gary advises on a broad range of real estate transactions including acquisitions, development, leasing and sales across residential, commercial, retail and industrial sectors.

His clients include developers, high net worth individuals, insurance companies, large landlords, Government Entities, chain tenants, strata and community owners corporations, childcare centres and Asian investors. Gary is regularly recognised in Best Lawyers™ Australia, Doyle’s Guide and Asia law for his leadership in real estate law and is actively involved in property law reform through his roles with the Law Society and Law Council of Australia.
