Ballet Folklórico Netotiliztli

La agrupación se conformó el 1° de Julio del 2008, como parte de un proyecto dancístico que representa la historia de Pénjamo a través del tiempo, sin embargo, la primera presentación como grupo folklórico fue el 1 de Febrero del 2009, bailando en el Centro de las Artes en Salamanca.  

The group was formed on July 1, 2008, as part of a dance project that represents the history of Pénjamo over time, however, the first presentation as a folk group was on February 1, 2009, dancing in the Center of the Arts in Salamanca. 

En su mayoría, el Ballet Folkórico Netotiliztli está integrado por estudiantes y profesionistas en diversas áreas. Nuestro Grupo se caracteriza por fomentar y difundir la danza en las comunidades rurales, pueblos y ciudades, crear un espectáculo interactivo con el público y promover la activación física en los jóvenes por medio del baile.

For the most part, the Netotiliztli Folkloric Ballet is made up of students and professionals in various areas. Our Group is characterized by promoting and spreading dance in rural communities, towns and cities, creating an interactive show with the public and promoting physical activation in young people through dance.

El ballet se ha presentado en más de 30 comunidades de su municipio, en 36 de los 46 municipios del estado de Guanajuato, en los estados de Michoacán, Puebla, Morelos, Jalisco, Colima, Chihuahua y en los países de Estados Unidos, Chile y Colombia como parte de sus Giras Internacionales.

The ballet has been presented in more than 30 communities of its municipality, in 36 of the 46 municipalities of the state of Guanajuato, in the states of Michoacán, Puebla, Morelos, Jalisco, Colima, Chihuahua and in the countries of the United States, Chile and Colombia as part of its International Tours.

Además, ha alternado a lo largo de 16 años con distintas agrupaciones nacionales como: La Compañia Regional de Danza Guanajuato COREDA, Ballet Folklórico de la Universidad de Guanajuato BAFUG, Ballet Folkórico IMCAR y con agrupaciones internacionales de los países de Alemania, Bolivia, Perú, Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica y Venezuela.

In addition, he has alternated over 16 years with different national groups such as: The Regional Dance Company Guanajuato COREDA, Folkloric Ballet of the University of Guanajuato BAFUG, IMCAR Folkloric Ballet and with international groups from the countries of Germany, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica and Venezuela.

Entre las becas recibidas, concursos y participaciones más importantes se encuentran: “Estímulos a la creación y al Desarrollo Artístico 2008”, Programa de Fomento a Proyectos y Coinversiones Culturales 2014, Talento en movimiento 2019; ganadores del 1er. lugar con mención honorífica en la Espartaqueada Nacional integrados en el elenco de COREDA, en Puebla 2015 y 2019; participación en la 2da. edición 2017 del “Festival Internacional Coximatlan” en el estado de Colima, Gira Internacional con “Ensamble Identidad y Folclor”, Estado Unidos, promovida por Instituto estatal de Cultura del estado de Guanajuato en los años 2016, 2017 y 2018 y, “IX y X Muestra Internacional De Artes Escénicas Movimiento Continuo” 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 Y 2024, Intercambio Internacional de Danzas Folclóricas "Quintero Une Fronteras"  respectivamente, en Bogotá Colombia. 2021 Beca ENARTES a través del FONCA, Intercambio Internacional de Danzas Folclóricas "Quintero Une Fronteras" 2024, 2025.

Among the scholarships received, competitions and most important participations are: “Stimuli to the creation and Artistic Development 2008”, Program for the Promotion of Cultural Projects and Co-investments 2014, Talent in motion 2019; 1st winners place with honorable mention in the National Spartaqueada integrated in the cast of COREDA, in Puebla 2015 and 2019; participation in the 2nd. 2017 edition of the “Coximatlan International Festival” in the state of Colima, International Tour with “Ensemble Identidad y Folclor”, United States, promoted by the State Institute of Culture of the state of Guanajuato in the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 and, “IX y X International Exhibition of Performing Arts Continuous Movement ”2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 respectively, in Bogotá Colombia. In 2021 we got ENARTES schoolarship from FONCA, International Folk Dance Exchange "Quintero Unites Borders" 2024, 2025.
