WHAT WE COLLECT
You do not need an account to use CricView. Scores, news and match information are available without signing in.
What: A random app account identifier
When: The first time you make a prediction in the Play tab
Why: To store your points, streak and leaderboard position. No name, email or phone number is needed.
What: Your Google account name, email address and profile photo
When: Only if you choose to sign in with Google
Why: To show your name and photo in the Dugout fan chat and to keep your Play points if you change phones.
What: Your display name
When: If you set or change it in the Play tab
Why: Shown on the leaderboard.
What: Your predictions, votes, reactions, likes and Dugout messages
When: When you use those features
Why: To run the feature and show your results.
What: Notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
When: If you allow notifications
Why: To send match alerts and news notifications.
What: Advertising ID and device information
When: While ads are shown
Why: To show ads and measure them through Google AdMob.
What: App usage and screen views, device model, app version, language and country
When: While using the app
Why: To understand which features are used and to fix problems.
What: Crash reports and diagnostics
When: If the app crashes
Why: To find and fix bugs.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, files, precise location, phone number, SMS or call data, and we do not sell your personal information.
WHO PROCESSES THIS DATA
Google Firebase
Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics and Crashlytics are used to store the data described above and run the app's live features.
Google AdMob
AdMob shows advertisements in the app. AdMob may use your advertising ID to show and measure personalised or non-personalised ads.

Cricket scores, statistics and news shown in the app come from public sources. No personal information is sent to those sources.
ADS AND YOUR CHOICES
Ads are shown to keep the app free.
In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you are asked for consent before personalised ads are used, and you can change that choice at any time from:

You can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device settings:
Settings → Google → Ads
Some features, such as unlocking an AI prediction, may ask you to watch a rewarded ad. Watching a rewarded ad is always optional.
NOTIFICATIONS
Match alerts and news notifications are optional.
You can turn them off from:
Settings → Notifications
You can also manage notification permissions from your device's notification settings.
CHILDREN
CricView is intended for users aged 13 and over.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We will delete the information where required.
HOW LONG WE KEEP DATA
Play points, predictions and leaderboard entries are kept while the feature exists or until you ask us to delete them.
Dugout messages are kept until you or a moderator deletes them.
Crash and analytics data are kept for the periods applied by Google Firebase by default.
DELETING YOUR DATA
To request deletion of your account data, including your Play points, Dugout profile and messages, email:

If you signed in with Google, please email us from the address you used to sign in.
If you played without signing in, tell us the display name shown on your Play card.
We will delete the applicable data within 30 days.
Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device, including the anonymous identifier used for Play points if you never signed in with Google.
SECURITY
Data is stored on Google Firebase servers and protected by security rules that allow you to write only your own data.
We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
