This picture is of the main gate guard shack it was located on Chester Pike just across from the right of way for the tracks crossing the pike as seen below center. It was set on fire and destroyed about 15 years ago.

Baldwin Locomotive Works was responsible for some of the rifles and ordinance used in W.W.I by the British, some of the ordinance made here was tested near Lakehurst New Jersey.

It's not an accident that the cracks at right center go almost perfectly straight, they are the paved over “Right of Way”. The bridge in the background is Interstate 95 about 11.5 miles south of Philadelphia, and 1/2 mile north of the I-476 exit.

The electrical power building that used to be on the corner of Chester Pike and Simpson Street
