After tryouts in the fall, the teams practice one to two times a week.  Both teams are a part of the Ventura County Middle School league with games being played on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the months of December and January. After the season, starting in late February on Fridays, open practices start for all 6th and 7th graders interested in trying out for the team the following year.
