Ashley's approach to training matches my approach to equine bodywork. Ask the horse. Wait. Listen. In this era of fast-paced, must-win training, during a time when a microscope is being focused on the horse industry for welfare issues and at times frank abuse, Ashley's approach is a refreshing change and a model for what horse training should be. She takes the time it takes. She considers the whole horse. She works with horses and owners to deepen their relationship,  building confidence in both. She is a perpetual student, always seeking input from classical mentors whose goal, like hers, is to find ways to improve the life of the horse, while creating connection between people and their beautiful equine partners -- and each other!
