Associate Research Scientist: Abdul Hannan is currently focused on developing a mouse model to investigate pediatric glaucoma, with particular emphasis on the development of the trabecular meshwork and Schlemm’s canal and their roles in glaucomatous eye disease. Outside the laboratory, he enjoys spending his leisure time exploring hiking trails along the Hudson River and sampling the diverse culinary offerings of New York City.
Research Technician: Emily is currently focused on using human iPSCs to model ocular endothelial cell development. She is also a part-time Master's student in Biotechnology at Columbia University. Emily has three marathons under her belt. You can bet that at any given time, she is probably training for the next one!
