Swapnil Kumar Nath
Swapnil completed his M.Sc. in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry from Tezpur University, Assam. He has completed his Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Sibsagar University, Assam. During his M.Sc., he worked in a synthetic organic chemistry lab where his project involved the synthesis of Azepino[1,2-a] indoles via Intramolecular Alkyne Aldehyde Metathesis Reaction. In April 2024, he joined BALAB at IIT Mandi as a PhD student. His areas of interest lie in the domain of synthesis of supramolecular organic materials. In his spare time, he adores taking care of domestic animals, working out, reading novels, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Nabanita Nayak
Nabanita completed her M.Sc. chemistry with specialization in organic chemistry from Ravenshaw University Cuttack, Odisha. She has completed her Bachelor's in chemistry from Berhampur University , Odisha. During her MSc. She worked in a synthetic organic chemistry Lab where her project involves synthesis of tetrahydrochromeno isoindole-1,3-dione derivatives following [4+2] cycloaddition. In August 2024, she joined BALAB at IIT Mandi as a PhD student. Her area of interest lies in the domain of synthesis of Supramolecular organic Material and studies their applications. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family, reading novels, exploring new places, singing, dancing.
