Ratandeep
Ratandeep completed his M.Sc. Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry from Hansraj College, University of Delhi. He has completed his Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. Following this period, he worked as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Bhaskar Datta at IIT Gandhinagar where his project involved the synthesis, characterization and biological assays of pharmaceutically active molecules possessing anticancer, antimicrobial, and neuroprotective properties. In January 2024, he joined BALAB at IIT Mandi as a PhD. His areas of interests lie in the domain of supramolecular chemistry with focus on stimuli-responsive materials. In his spare time, he finds joy in singing and fitness activities, occasionally dons the chef's hat and nurture greenery through gardening, finds solace in books, explore new places, and indulges in the world of art and craft.
Swapnil Kumar Nath
Swapnil completed his M.Sc. in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry from Tezpur University, Assam. He has completed his Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Sibsagar University, Assam. During his M.Sc., he worked in a synthetic organic chemistry lab where his project involved the synthesis of Azepino[1,2-a] indoles via Intramolecular Alkyne Aldehyde Metathesis Reaction. In April 2024, he joined BALAB at IIT Mandi as a PhD student. His areas of interest lie in the domain of synthesis of supramolecular organic materials. In his spare time, he adores taking care of domestic animals, working out, reading novels, traveling, and spending time with his family.
