I have been interested in music for a while and after doing close to no research on how to make music one night I downloaded an app and made my first beat. A 8 second lil song that sounded somewhat like a little creepy thing. I have it in my lil Redyellow ep as Spogbolb because the original cover was a SpongeBob meme.
After making my first beat I started just messing around and I made my first real song. On Soundcloud it is known as "ok this is sorta good" because I named my music after how I felt on it. After a little while I was doing alright on Soundcloud. Then I decided "hey you know what getting it on Spotify would be pretty cool, you know?" And after some remembering and a little research my song True Beauty was set to release on new year's of 2023. and after that I released what I consider to be my first real album "ok" and I was really proud of it and still am. The songs were just some of my favorite songs I made from Soundcloud.
Then after that I got right back to work on making more music. It took around I'd say like 3 months for it to release. One month to try to decide what to name it and make the art for it, one month to make the music and another to wait for it to get onto streaming services. This album was Sundaways. Sundaways is an album where I practically just made some of the most random stuff and called it a song. Some of my songs from SoundCloud did appear on it but the ones that were made for it are something. The final track is just loud nonsense that was a headache to make but it was made for a friend, and they requested it, so I made it.
After the release of Sundaways I took a small rest and even started doubting myself in music. But eventually I forgot to doubt myself one day and I started making more music. This took a while to do but I have released the song Mall as a single to my 3rd album Throw Chew-Bites. Throw Chew-Bites is what I consider to be my best album so far. The beats are good and fun, the cover is cool looking, and its short and sweet. I don't have much to say about it so I guess I will leave it at that. I hope you will enjoy it.
I named my next album "HEAVENLY HATE BAD" because it was just mainly me experimenting with music that doesn't make much sense. It was backed by one single, Deathdream, and lil fun fact about Deathdream is that it actually is a song from my Soundcloud. Also that it appeared on the album as "DEATHSPACE." The mention of death is just because at the time of making the music and the cover I was listening to a lot of Death Grips. It may show in the music as it is a goodwill version of Government Plates at best. The albums name is not even its real name I just didn't want the real name of the album to be public yet but there is a reference to it in the cover if you really want to find it. The cover consists of me putting random images together and just messing it all up. The cover itself is also censored and is not the real thing and I am disappointed I had to do it but I did. For like a day or two I put the intro of the album on Pandora only as a single and it was the original name AND cover so props to anyone who saw that. Finally getting to the music itself, I sampled a lot of things from my camera roll like the ending theme from Postal one, the drums from Mama's Boyfriend (Q-Tips version) by Kanye West, the demo for Rock Bottom by Eminem, and an Invader Zim fan video thing from YouTube just to name a few. It was really fun to put the things in and mess them up. Also, the song "URTH 2 B" is actually a song that was meant to be on Sundaways. Sundaways was meant to be an album like this but turnt out more spacey and I liked that. So technically HHB is backed by 2 singles.
After yet another break, I started decided to try something new. So, I made Dairy Concept. Dairy Concept was sort of inspired by Lil Ugly Mane's project "Bedwetter." I first released a small 4 song ep but the services like calling it an album but whatever I'm not complaining. Then I got to work on my next Diary Concept album, Dairy Product. I started by looking through all of my voice memos. I have a tendency to record random noises and have even filled a few cassette tapes with many noises I have heard. Many of the songs in the album are based around many of the voice memos I have. Then I sort of was inspired by The Ghost Pop Tape by Devon Hendryx (now known as JPEGMAFIA) to add somewhat of a reverb to the whole thing. Devon always had reverb on his songs and it always sounded so great. The last song on it was actually a recording of a cassette tape I made where I just put noises in it. After the album released, I was done with the Dairy Concept name. It was a very short lived but cool little side project.
My next project was under the Bakls365 name. I was inspired more by ambient music. It started from listening to Liam McCay (Sign Crushes Motorist, Birth Day, etc.) I mention his name because he has many projects under many different names. The project that inspired me was his self titled album under the name Busty Latinas. The album was four songs long but ambient. I never realized how interesting ambient music really was. So I tried my best to make my own little ambient type stuff. Did not have to be fully ambient but it still had to be something like that if you know what I mean. The cover is a picture of me during my 13th birthday. I decided to make that the cover just because I sort of found that funny.
After that came an album called "finding." I had no idea what to name it and took the cover picture like awhile back. It is a picture of a G-Mod public server loading screen. This one was even MORE ambient then the last. Samples include Fight Club, Red Dead Redemption 2, more noises from a radio, and Bunnys at Sundown by The Falbonauts. I was inspired by Aphex Twin and Busty Latinas again for this album.
