We are a student-founded nonprofit on a mission to fight local hunger in Southern New Jersey. Led by students at Kingsway Regional High School, our organization brings people together through the joy of baking to provide food, raise awareness, and support those in need.
Compassion: We lead with empathy and kindness.
Community: We build connections and work together.
Charity: We give back to those who need it most.
Care: We show up for our neighbors with love.
It all started in November when two Kingsway Regional High School students, Warren LaMonica and Jaden Flynn, shared a simple goal: to fight hunger in our community.
Inspired by the idea of bringing people together through food, they organized their first baked goods fundraiser. The community rallied around the cause, helping them raise over $2,500 and feed over 300.
That incredible passion became the foundation for Baking for the Better.
