Just a note. My goats are on pasture. My pastures are a mix of Midland Bermuda, crabgrass, native grass and of course weeds. There are also plenty of Oak, Elm, and other trees that they trim up for me. I give them Crabgrass hay and plant Elbon Rye in the Fall which carries them through May or June. My kids start creep at about fourweeks of age. I use dual worming after performing FAMACHA and getting a Fecal exam. My soil is sandy and drains well.
