The data is collected from tests carried out by users of the nPerf app. These are tests conducted in real conditions, directly in the field. If you'd like to get involved too, all you have to do is download the nPerf app onto your smartphone. The more data there is, the more comprehensive the maps will be! All test results are displayed on the maps. Filtering rules are applied before performance calculation for publications.

Network coverage maps are automatically updated by a bot every hour. Speed maps are updated every 15 minutes. Data is displayed for two years. After two years, the oldest data is removed from the maps once a month.

Tests are conducted on users' devices. Geolocation precision depends on the reception quality of the GPS signal at the time of the test. For coverage data, we only retain tests with a maximum geolocation precision of 50 meters. For download bitrates, this threshold goes up to 200 meters.

Yes. This tool is mainly intended for mobile operators. It has been integrated into an existing cockpit that already includes internet performance statistics from all operators in a country, as well as access to speed-test results and coverage data. These data can be visualized by applying filters by technology (no coverage, 2G, 3G, 4G, 4G+, 5G) over a configurable period (only the last 2 months for example). It's a great tool to track the deployment of new technology, monitor competitors and identify poor signal coverage areas.

Bakcell covers more than 99% of the population and 92% of the land area of the country (excluding occupied territories) with 900 and 1800 MHz 2G services. The majority of the network was upgraded to 3G in November 2011 using the B1 (2100 MHz) and B8 (900 MHz) bands, and progressively upgraded to DC-HSPA+ over the following three years providing up to 42 Mbps peak DL data rate.

The network received yet another upgrade in May 2015 when the company launched its 4G LTE service on B3 (1800 MHz). Only months later in October 2015 the company announced activation of LTE-A with intra-band carrier aggregation of an existing 20 MHz B3 (1800 MHz) channel with an additional 10 MHz B3 (1800 MHz) channel, advertising peak data rates of up to 225 Mbps.

It is an Android smartphone of high quality that features a 4.3-inch screen. Our strategy was to move from piling data via dongles onto our network to getting people to use their handsets to access and use the internet. The increasing sales of this terminal proved to be a key element of our 2013 strategy. The Bakcell smartphone was a means of achieving this quickly, and also of leveraging the trust invested in the Bakcell brand, especially in the area of mobile data and internet connectivity. The Sr@ (Bakcell 3G service) brand and the Bakcell brand are well known for providing the best mobile data and mobile internet services. Therefore, combining these with a handset of good quality and high functionality was an obvious step for us. Approximately 45% of the market uses Sr@. The key consideration with smartphones is to get people to use the internet on the go. We have seen a significant rise in the tablet segment in 2013 and are pushing smartphones and bigger screens in 2014, as well as devices that are somewhere between tablets and smartphones. What we see are more people using their phones to access the internet on a more ongoing basis. Dongles tend to be heavily oriented toward YouTube and Skype and similar programs. With handsets the array of uses is much broader.

We just arrived today and 2 Android phones and 1 iPhone was able to use local BAKCELL GSM2000 network for data roaming only. But we are not able to make any calls locally or to UK. We all did turn our roaming options on before leaving UK. We all have unlimited calls and text and 30GB data.

Another problem is phone related. Second iPhone was not able to connect to ID mobile roaming at all. But when I put that SIM card into Android phone, SIM card was able to connect to ID roaming, again with data roaming only, but without any calls. But when I put that SIM card back into iPhone, it is not able to connect to roaming at all.

After transferring its database to the Cloudera platform, Azercell now develops new services and products for its customers 5 times faster. By improving decision-making and customer experience, Azercell's churn rate has decreased by 25%. The advanced hybrid capabilities provided by the Cloudera Data Platform will allow Azercell to apply new generation technologies in the telecommunications market of Azerbaijan and test 5G for commercial services in the future.

The first scam was at the Baku airport itself when I was trying to get a sim card. There are 2 sim card counters next to the information counters in the arrivals lounge of Baku airport. These are for Bakcell (one counter) and Nar and Azercell (other counter). I went to the Azercell counter and saw the price list. These prices were consistent for all 3 providers - ranging from 30 manat for 10 GB to unlimited data ~55 manat. They will get your phone and install a sim card. I was going in for the unlimited Azercell for 50 manat. After trying to "activate" the sim, I was told that Azercell and Nar networks were down and I should go in for a Bakcell connection for 40 manat (20 GB), and the girls insisted on cash payment. I didn't buy a sim from there and eventually bought one from an Azercell shop for 20 manat for 10 GB. I was so paranoid after the incident that I factory reset my phone after coming home (afraid of god knows what they might have installed on my phone through the "activation"). The surprising part was that these were English speaking Azeri (young) women, well dressed, standing in the airport at a counter next to the information desk and ripping people off. I strongly believe that these weren't the mobile company representatives and that the information desk ladies are also involved in the same as they pointed me to them. TIP: download offline maps, reach Baku city, head over to a proper Azercell or Bacell shop, not a third party vendor and buy a sim from there. You will need your passport for verification. If in doubt, insist on card payment.

I can assume that the fact is that your servers stopped sending SMS to my Azerbaijani mobile operator ( ).

Legislative elections were held in Russia from September 17 to 19. This year, indoor and outdoor voting stations were located across the country, with ballot boxes set up at parks, fields, and sidewalks. At the same time, voters in several Russian regions were able to vote online. The latest data showed the turnout in the remote electronic voting stood at 93.21 percent.

Prodigiosin and obatoclax, members of the prodiginines family, are small molecules with anti-cancer properties that are currently under preclinical and clinical trials. The molecular target(s) of these agents, however, is an open question. Combining experimental and computational techniques we find that prodigiosin binds to the BH3 domain in some BCL-2 protein families, which play an important role in the apoptotic programmed cell death. In particular, our results indicate a large affinity of prodigiosin for MCL-1, an anti-apoptotic member of the BCL-2 family. In melanoma cells, we demonstrate that prodigiosin activates the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway by disrupting MCL-1/BAK complexes. Computer simulations with the PELE software allow the description of the induced fit process, obtaining a detailed atomic view of the molecular interactions. These results provide new data to understand the mechanism of action of these molecules, and assist in the development of more specific inhibitors of anti-apoptotic BCL-2 proteins. e24fc04721
