Are you in stanbul ? Take a taksi ! It is a life time experience...If you arrive to the airports, the colors are orange, all others are yellow. The number plates start with the letter "T" and this costs 450.000 Euros !!! No writing mistake by the time I wrote this the rate was fourhundredfiftythousand euros ! In the years of 90's the number of permissions to be a taxi has been limited and no new permissions are allowed. As the city is growing and reached the population of 15 million people the number of 18.000 taxis are not enough anymore. On rush hours (07:00-09:30 and 17:00-19:30) finding a taksi is very difficult... It is of course a lot of money for a taksi driver, so a person that has this money and owns a taksi should be crazy to drive his own car in the hectic traffic of Istanbul. So if you own a number plate you buy one of the low cost cars (In Istanbul these are mostly Fiat, Renault, Hyundai or Dacia brands), find a driver and cash money :) The cars work on 24 hours basis, mostly the owner has two drivers that work from the morning to 15:00 and from 15:00 to midnight and cash about 120-150 TL per driver. This makes about 2500 euros per month. Of course there are some costs like insurance, depreciation or credit on car (if so) but you can not earn this amount in any other way by doing nothing:) It is a good investment, so if you have the money come and try to buy a number plate !

Myhemmin yhti kertoi, ett nitietojen ksittelyss oli kyse erehdyksest.

Prva taksi sluba je nato zaela delovati v Stuttgartu istega leta.

Bencinski taksiji so kasneje zaeli najprej delovati v Parizu leta 1899, tiri leta kasneje, leta 1903, v Londonu in tri leta za tem e v New Yorku. Newyorki taksiji so bili uvoeni iz Francije preko poslovnea Harryja N. Allena, ki je svoja vozila za izvoz poimenoval kar taxicab, kar pomeni meanico vozila in avtomata na kovance. Prav tako je skoval besedo za taksimeter v francoini - taxi-mtre. V tem asu uvoza je tudi beseda taksi prila v vsakdanjo rabo. Poleg izumov je Allen svoje taksije pobarval rumeno, ker je menil, da se rumena barva e na dale najbolje opazi.

Taksiji so se po svetu razirili ele v 20. stoletju. Prva velika inovacija na podroju taksijev po letu 1940, ko se je pojavil taksimeter, je bila dvosmerna radijska postaja, preko katere so dispeerji obveali voznike taksijev, kje kdo eli prevoz.
