Course Description
Description: The course is designed to prepare students for the sequence of calculus courses. We start the course with learning the numbers and number sets. We define the functions and learn an elementary function theory. We continued with learning vectors and operations over the vectors. After the mid-term we introduce the differentiation and integration.
Prerequisite(s): Proficiency in high-school algebra (Mandatory)
Course Format
Homework and Quiz: Optional Homework will be assigned but not collected. We take weekly short-quizzes during the lectures with similar questions from homework assignments. Students performed the homework should be able to succeed the quiz. Two worst quiz results will be dropped to allow students to be absent. There are also two Mandatory Homework assignments per semester.
