In accordance to the Governance of Basic Educational Act of 2001 (RZ #9155, the school heads are tasked to develop the School Improvement Plan. SIP undertakes specific interventions for the improvement of the access, quality and governance of basic education. It is a three (3) year planned of activities with the help support of the external and internal stakeholders.
School reforms from the traditional to modern ones is the expected outcomes by the community in managing the school now a days through the help of modern technologies manifested in the school.
Bagong Pook Elementary School has a desire to transform valuable educational services to all its clientele despite of all difficulties in implementing programs and projects of the schools in achieving the goals and objectives of education. One instrument that can measures the failure and success of the school is through the School Improvement Plan. With the collaborative efforts of the teachers, and the school head, this SIP, will serve as the blueprint of the task to be done by them to ensure the achievement of school’s educational goals and objectives and have the necessary adjustment and actions in building the gap between what was already achieve by the school and what is intended or expected to achieve from us.
Bagong Pook Elementary school is located along the highway of Barangay Inocencio, Trece Martires City, Cavite. In the early 60’s, the first place used as a classroom in Barangay Inocencio was a rice mill. The land of school site which is 5,000 sq.m. was owned by Magdalena Escalante Atas and was used in 1962. There were 15 pupils. There were two rooms constructed under the provincial government in the leadership of Justinaño Montano and whose the Tinyente del Bario from 1956-1985t was Francisco D. Atas , one of the sons of the land owner and who allowed the community to used the area as a primary school from . Then these rooms were demolished and pupils held their classes in the Ba rangay Health Center.
The pupils came back to the school site when the Marcos Type Building was constructed in the year 1975. The other building was constructed in the year 1997 by the SEF School Education Fund.
The community public elementary school caters pupils from the newly open subdivisions such as Regina Ville 2000, Tradition Homes, Sampaguita Village, which is composed of 3 component subdivisions Sampaguita – Ayala, Sampaguita – Asiatic and Saint Joseph Homes that is why the population of pupils in Bagong Pook Elementary School always increased. By the school year 1999 – 2000, the District Supervisor of Trece Martires City, Dr. Edilberto Villanueva decided to open the school as Complete Elementary School. Then the first Grade VI class was handled by Mrs. Gregoria S. Atas with 39 pupils. Then that was the starting point, where the community started to send their children in Bagong Pook Elementary School from Grade I to VI.
The school is now headed by Dr. Arcely M. Lucero. It is expected that every year participation rate will increase because of migration in nearby subdivisions.
