The Curriculum Implementation Unit shall provide strategic and technical inputs towards the full implementation of the articulated basic education curriculum, enforcing curriculum standards, localization, and indigenization of the articulated curriculum to suit the conditions and context of the locality and ensuring access to quality and varied learning resources.

The Education Chief of this schoolshall direct and manage the work of the Curriculum Implementation Team that will help manage curriculum implementation in the Schools Division and provide technical assistance to schools in line with the curriculum and learning management.

A. INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENT

FUNCTIONS:

• Manage the implementation of the Basic Education Curriculum and Special Curricular Programs

• Provide Technical Assistance (TA) to teachers and learning centers in classroom management skills, instructional competence, and action research

• Capacitate teachers in the implementation of K to 12 Curriculum and Special Curricular Programs

B. LEARNING RESOURCE AND MATERIALS AND DEVELOPMENT FUNCTIONS:

• Develop contextualized learning resources by learning area for schools and learning centers

• Subject learning resources for quality assurance for the use of schools and learning centers.

• Provide technical assistance to schools and learning centers in line with the development, production, storage, and distribution, and utilization of learning material
