The English-version school and college have distinct structures. The English section, albeit smaller in scale compared to the Bangla counterpart, features a separate college edifice adjacent to the main complex. Meanwhile, the school building for the English section is situated atop Golden Eagle, a considerable distance away from the primary structure. Additionally, the English version boasts its own dedicated fields for various activities.

This edifice serves as the central hub for both the school and college, housing classrooms for primary, secondary, and college-level education under the Bangla version. It also acts as the administrative nerve center, overseeing the majority, if not all, of the institution's operations and affairs.

BAFSK traces its roots back to its establishment as Air Force School in 1972, undergoing subsequent name changes to BAF Shaheen School in 1980, and elevation to college status in 1982, hence adopting the title BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola (BAFSK). The English Version of the institution commenced in 2010, initially serving students up to Class V, and later expanded to include up to Class X in 2015. In 2019, a new college building was erected, marking the commencement of the College Section, encompassing the English Version (EV). Presently, the college accommodates approximately 7,255 students, with 6,286 enrolled in the Bengali Version (BV) and the remaining 969 in the English Version (EV).
