Team Members

Natalie is a senior studying Biosystems Engineering. Her interests lie in the manufacturing of food products and biological commodities. Currently, she works at Stantec as a Geotechnical Engineer. Previously, she worked as a Biological Technician for EA Engineering, Science, and Technology in Deerfield, IL and Indianapolis.

Makenna is a senior from Richmond, Kentucky, studying Biosystems Engineering with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Distillation, Wine, and Brewing Studies.  Her interests lie in bioprocessing and manufacturing applications of engineering. Her previous experience includes working as a Manufacturing Intern at Buffalo Trace Distillery and as a Student Engineer at East Kentucky Power Cooperative.

Benjamin is a senior in BAE, Biotech, and Violin performance. His interests lie in medical and bioprocessing applications of engineering. Currently, he works as a Prototyping Guide in the UK Innovation Center and an undergraduate researcher in the Barzee Bioprocessing Lab. His previous experience includes working as an R&D intern at Suntory Global Spirits, and as a Production Intern the James B. Beam Institute

Anastasia is a senior studying Biosystems Engineering. Her interests lie in bioprocessing and manufacturing applications. Currently, she works as a Prototyping Guide in the UK Innovation Center. Previously, she worked as an intern at dsm-firmenich in Winchester, KY, as well as working as an undergraduate researcher under Dr. Escobar in a chemical engineering lab.
