By integrating solid mechanics, materials science and engineering, and experimental mechanics, we bridge fundamental engineering principles with practical, high-impact applications in fields where reliability is paramount, including aerospace, energy, and defense.

극한 소재 및 구조 신뢰성 연구실(REMS Lab)에 오신 것을 환영합니다!

우리 연구실은 극한환경에서 사용되는 재료와 구조의 한계를 확장하고, 높은 신뢰성과 기능성을 갖는 시스템을 구현하는 것을 목표로 연구하고 있습니다. 고체역학, 재료공학, 실험역학을 융합하여 재료 및 구조의 기계적 거동과 손상·파손 메커니즘을 이해하고, 이를 실제 공학 문제의 신뢰성 평가와 설계로 연결하고자 합니다. 특히 높은 수준의 신뢰성이 요구되는 우주·항공, 에너지, 국방 등 극한환경 응용 분야를 주요 연구 대상으로 하고 있습니다.
