Research

• My current research is directed towards applying machine learning in answering interesting economic questions, including causal inferences, where using conventional methods is either expensive or convoluted due to dimensionality. A line of my research looks into the transition of U.S. agriculture, especially the dairy industry, and retail markets of healthful food. The versatility and transferability of quantitative skills provided me with the opportunity to collaborate with scientists from, e.g., the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the World Bank.
