My position at University of Cologne is half teaching/half research. Before, I have enjoyed teaching at University of Virginia while doing my PhD. I believe teaching is necessary and one of the most important parts if you plan to go to academics. I personally like teaching a lot. It's a lot fun and keeps your fundamental knowledge intact and fresh.Â
