Tatreez for Gaza: Stitches of Resistance
Tatreez is more than the Arabic word for embroidery; for generations of Palestinians, it has been a language of self-expression, art, and resilience.
For my project, Tatreez for Gaza, I create custom, handcrafted pieces as a way to honor our heritage and push back against the erasure of Palestinian identity. 100% of all proceeds are donated directly to Gaza.
Whether you choose a traditional motif or a custom design, your piece serves as a living testament to a culture that refuses to be forgotten.
Join one of my workshops and make your own or reach out to buy directly. If you're in Almonte, Perth, or Carleton Place, I can arrange for delivery. Otherwise, you are welcome to come pick it up or pay for shipping.

Ruba is my mother’s cousin. Her father, Abdel Raouf, used to visit my grandfather as often as circumstances allowed. Today, Ruba is caring for more than 30 family members who have been left homeless in Gaza after their homes were destroyed.
Some of our family in the UK have kindly started a fundraiser on chuffed.org to support Ruba and everyone with her. Please consider donating through the link below to help them survive and rebuild. Also, share it with others if you can.
Thank you.
