The primary objective of this extension is to translate text. To do this, the extension processes the following data:

- User-entered text: The text you type or paste into the popup window.

- Web page content: When you use the page translation or text selection feature, the textual content of the active page is temporarily processed to provide the translation.

This textual data is sent to translation servers (Google Translate API) to obtain the translated result. We do not store this content on our own servers.

2. Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage) solely to save your user preferences, such as:

- Your preferred target language (e.g., Badini, Sorani, English).

- Text direction settings (RTL/LTR).

This information does not leave your browser and is not shared with third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

The extension interacts with 'translate.googleapis.com' to retrieve translations. The use of this service is subject to Google's privacy rules.

4. Security

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or financial information. The extension contains no advertising tracking code.
