Effective date: 20 July 2026
BactoBattle (“the app”) is an offline educational card game about bacteria, antibiotics, and antimicrobial resistance. This policy explains, in plain language, how the app handles your information. Short version: the app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
None. The app has no account or sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking or SDKs. We do not know who you are and we receive nothing from your use of the app.
To remember your progress and preferences, the app saves a small amount of data locally on your device only:
Your game record (games completed, wins and losses per difficulty)
Your personal-coaching tallies (anonymous counts of in-game choices, used to generate on-device tips)
Simple settings (e.g. whether a reminder prompt is muted)
This information never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or anyone else, and is deleted when you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app.
The app runs fully offline. It does not connect to the internet on its own. The only time an internet connection is used is if you choose to tap the optional “Feedback” link, which opens a Google Form in your browser. Anything you enter there is handled by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy, not by the app.
The app requests only the INTERNET permission, used solely to open the optional external feedback link. It does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, or any other sensitive information.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, we will update it here and revise the effective date above.
