How it started

It all started with a lost sword.

In 2024, my kids and I were enjoying ourselves at the Southern Fried Gaming Expo in Atlanta, GA, playing aracade games. My son had received a balloon sword from a balloon twister and held onto it tightly while he browsed the arcade games. Once he found a game he wanted to play, he placed his sword on the ground next to him for safekeeping. You can see it in the picture on the left.

On our way out, he realized that he didn't have his sword, so he immediately ran back to the machine to get it, but the sword was gone. He frantically checked the trash cans and even asked to see security footage, but his sword was nowhere to be found.

My son desperately wanted another balloon sword, but we couldn't find the balloon twister.

Then I thought - maybe I can make him a balloon sword!

And the rest is history.
