Terms of Service for Backup and Restore All

Welcome to Backup and Restore All ("the App"), developed by PAK TECH. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. About the App
Backup and Restore All is designed to help users securely back up and restore personal data, including but not limited to:
Contacts
SMS Messages
Call Logs
Installed Applications
Calendar Events
Media Files
Other supported device data
The App may store backups locally on your device, on external storage, or in your personal Google Drive account, depending on your chosen backup destination.
2. Eligibility
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the App. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to back up and restore any data processed through the App.
3. Google Drive Integration
If you choose to use Google Drive, the App requests access only to the files it creates or that you explicitly authorize, using Google's drive.file permission.
The App does not access unrelated files stored in your Google Drive.
Google Drive access is governed by Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
4. Your Data
You retain full ownership of your data at all times.
Backup and Restore All does not claim ownership of any files, contacts, messages, media, or other information backed up through the App.
You are solely responsible for maintaining copies of your important data.
5. Data Storage
Depending on your selected backup method, your data may be stored:
On your device
On an SD card
In your personal Google Drive account
The App does not permanently store your backup files on our servers.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Use the App only for lawful purposes.
Keep your Google account and device secure.
Verify that backups have completed successfully before deleting original data.
Maintain sufficient storage space for backups.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its design, source code, graphics, trademarks, and content, remain the property of PAK TECH.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of the App or its intellectual property.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
While we strive to provide reliable backup functionality, we do not guarantee that:
Backups will always succeed.
Restores will always recover every file.
The App will operate without interruption.
The App will be free of bugs or errors.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PAK TECH shall not be liable for any:
Loss of data
Loss of profits
Device damage
Business interruption
Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
arising from the use of or inability to use the App.
Users are responsible for maintaining their own backup strategy.
10. Third-Party Services
The App may interact with third-party services including:
Google Drive
Google Play Services
Firebase Services
These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Updates
We may update the App to improve functionality, security, compatibility, or performance.
Some features may change, be modified, or be discontinued without prior notice.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Updated versions will be published with a revised Effective Date.
Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated or if required by law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
