Back to the Mountain draws on the strength of the bones of traditional old time and bluegrass music as a platform to explore unique interpretations of these beloved songs. As multi-instrumentalists, the trio brings an engaging variety of musical textures to their performances, ranging from twin-fiddle barn burners to flowing, melodic ballads. Add to that their haunting, relevant and at times heartbreaking original compositions and powerful three-part harmonies for an entertaining and memorable Colorado music experience.

The trio formed by chance during a backyard jam, when the three women immediately recognized the musical synergy between them was something they needed to explore and cultivate. The band is made up of Riley Ann (fiddle, guitar, banjo), Kelsey Meigs (fiddle, guitar, banjo) and Janeen Bogue (bass).
