Level 0 is the first level of the Backrooms, and the first most wanderers will end up in.
Description:
Level 0 is an infinite connection of random halls, rooms, and walls. The entire level is this kind of yellow, known as "Mono-yellow", and covers the walls, ceiling, and the carpet. Level 0 has some superficial features such as arrows pointed up wallpaper, the buzzing lights, and damp carpet. Some walls in Level 0 do not touch the ceiling, as well as some carpet may be destroyed, worn out, torn up, and sopping wet. Some walls in Level 0 have electrical outlets on them, mold growing on them, or have surveillance cameras. You can also find groups of blood-red rooms, or pitch-black hallways with no light going through a single inch of the hallway, these appear rarely, and they should never be approached.

Lights in Level 0 buzz at maximum frequency and doesn't stop until one finds an outpost or community, some rooms have no lights at all, which is a great place to chill from the buzzing lights, but not a great place from entities. Level 0 has stories and floors (presumably 900,000 floors) to be running around, you can get to the floors by walking up mono-yellow stairs, slanted carpet floor, and stairs with Level 0 damp carpet. Some floors can be just a massive single basement room with nothing but a table in the middle, the tables can have Almond Water, crates, change, anxiety pills, or memory juice, just check what there is on the table in the basement rooms, just be warned though, because some crates might have entities in them.
Hallucinations are very common on Level 0, some hallucinations can be crickets, human speech, blind spots, and Deja Vu. To prevent hallucinations and anxiety make sure you have some Almond water on you. Entities are common in Level 0, as they are more than half of the population of Level 0, since the level is estimated to be around 600 million square miles.

The entities you'll find in Level 0 are Howlers, Skin-stealers, Wretches, Hounds, and Deathmoths. If you see one turn around and sprint.

Keep walking until you find concrete stairs with a turn to get to Level 1
Going through the floor on any story will lead one to Level -5
Going in the ceiling will lead one to Level -9
Finding a wooden door will lead one to the Manila Room.
Jumping through a 2-meter square hole in the floor will lead one to Level 282.
