WELCOME TO BACKPORCH BANJO
BackPorch Banjo is an energetic 5-piece band with members drawn from all around central Vancouver Island. Upbeat and banjo-driven, with soaring harmonies and a toe-tapping backbeat, we play at the crossroads of bluegrass, old-time, acoustic roots music, and traditional country music.
Our songs - both originals and covers - tell heartfelt stories of love and heartbreak, hard work and revelry. Come listen, and let us put a smile on your face. We hope you'll enjoy listening as much as we enjoy playing.
