Yahoo Falls Trail
Trail 1.4 Mile Loop Moderate with steps, 113 foot waterfall, bluffs, overlooks. Turn west off Hwy. 27 onto 700 and drive 4.5 miles to Yahoo Falls Recreation Area.

0.09 Overlook of Big South Fork River and Yahoo Creek confluence.
0.20 Trail junction, go left and descend a metal staircase to Yahoo Falls. Right leads to Upper loop and Yahoo Arch Trail
0.42 Continue behind and under the falls or go left to foot bridge that crosses below the falls.
0.50 Bridge crosses creek below falls. Just past the bridge the trail goes left (Sheltowee) or right, which leads up and around to the top of the falls.
0.83 Intersection of Upper Loop (right) and Yahoo Arch (left).
0.94 Overlook of falls which is obscured by trees.
0.98 Overlook with view of Yahoo creek, trail continues over Yahoo creek.
1.04 Spur trail leads to top of falls, be careful near the edge here.
1.07 Overlook with limited view of the falls.
1.28 Trail merges back to end loop, continue straight back to parking lot.

0.37 Spur trail leads to top of falls, be careful near the edge here.
0.43 Overlook with view of Yahoo creek, trail continues over Yahoo creek.
0.47 Overlook of falls which is obscured by trees.
0.58 Intersection of Upper Loop (left) and Yahoo Arch (straight)
1.50 Yahoo Arch.
The arch has a height of 17 feet and a base of 70 feet., there smaller arch to the left. You may either continue to KY 700 or return to the Yahoo Falls Day Use Area and other connecting trails.
Camping Facilities
Alum Ford - 8 primitive sites, portable toilets and no drinking water, boat ramp.
Yahoo Falls- No camping, restrooms & water.

Getting There
Southbound on I-75 take KY 461 south to KY 80, take 80 west to U.S. 27, From Kentucky 27, head west on 700 for 4 miles. Signs indicate how to get to the falls.
