Sara is one of the original residents of Backhand. Her tattooing is based in styles of heavy blackwork mixed with soft gradients, primarily leaning toward natural themes and illustrative movement.

Caius has been a resident tattoo and modification artist at Backhand since the space opened in early 2024. Their tattoo style combines detailed realism with ornamental flourishes, blending eerie darkness with elegant imagery.

Carly is a new resident to Backhand as of Early 2025. She specializes in fine line blackwork and black and grey, drawing inspiration from classic imagery in traditional and y2k styles.

Juju (JCJ) joined Backhand in the end of 2024. They are a five year tattooer whose artistic style merges intricate depictions of flora and fauna with dark, dreamy twists. Their technical approach is a hybrid of illustrative and surrealism. They love to work on large concepts, body wraps, reworks, and sleeve fills.

Marcy has been working as a part-time piercer at Backhand since early 2025. She exclusively uses APP-verified body jewelry, including Divinity Metals and Industrial Strength Body Jewelry. She specializes in surface piercings, large-gauge piercings, and play piercings.
