NCSI began the National Screening Program for USA Hockey in April 2020. While you may have a screening from before that, it was likely not with NCSI, please be sure to click that this is your first time screening with NCSI if your last screening was before then.

If you have received an email containing an adverse Action Notice or Notice of Eligibility with Conditions and would like to appeal the eligibility determination, or to view USA Hockey's screening criteria, please reference the USA Hockey Background Screening Policy Review Procedure below for USA Hockey's process for appeal and its screening criteria.

Upon completing your NCSI screen, you will receive a separate email from NCSI with additional requests for documents required to be uploaded with your NCSI background screen by state law, prior to receiving a screening determination.

WHO HAS TO GET SCREENED?

All adult coaches, officials, board members, employees, volunteers, and anyone else who will have regular contact with, or authority over, athletes under the age of 18 are required to submit to a background screen before any such contact with those athletes.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

Background screens through NCSI under the national program will cost $30 for all domestic screens. For international screens (members who have lived outside of the U.S. for six consecutive months in any one country during the past 7 years) the fee in $150. If that country is solely Canada, the fee is $75.

HOW LONG DOES SCREENING TAKE?

On average, background screens take between 3-10 business days to complete. There may be additional delays for, but not limited to, international searches, COVID-19 court closures, Pennsylvania document review and Massachusetts state document review.

USA Archery (USAA) is committed to providing a safe, healthy and fun learning environment for our athletes and participants. To this end, USA Archery utilizes a standardized approach to background screening through the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI).

The cost of each background screening is the responsibility of the individual. The Minor Athlete Abuse and Prevention Policy (MAAPP) spells out expectations for adults in coaching and leadership positions and has regular contact with amateur athletes who are minors (i.e., those under the age of 18).

It is the responsibility of each event organizer, Club and State Association to monitor this policy with regard to all participants required to complete and maintain a background screen. A person may be disqualified and prohibited from working with USAA and/or participating in USAA sanctioned activities if there is a red light finding in the background screen.

The Department of Children and Families is one of seven state agencies that use the statewide screening database, "The Clearinghouse." The Clearinghouse provides a single data source administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for background screening results for persons screened for employment or licensure that provide services to children, the elderly and disabled individuals.

The Background Screening Unit processes screening results for health care providers in Florida currently licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration. Processing includes making a determination of eligibility and evaluating applications for exemption. The Unit is also responsible for the maintenance and administration of the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Applicants who submit an initial licensure application to the department for a profession that requires background screening pursuant to s. 456.0135, Florida Statutes, must submit fingerprints electronically through a service provider approved by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and who is photo capable and is in compliance with the requirements of Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 435.04(1)(e), Florida Statutes.

The purpose of the clearinghouse is to provide a single data source for background screening results of persons required to be screened by law for employment in positions that provide services to children, the elderly, and disabled individuals. The clearinghouse allows the results of criminal history checks to be shared among specified agencies when a person has applied to volunteer, be employed, be licensed, or enter into a contract that requires a state and national fingerprint-based criminal history check. (s. 435.12, Florida Statutes)

Summary:

The bill creates section 456.0496, Florida Statutes, requiring certain health care practitioners to ensure that the informational pamphlet on the screening for, and treatment of, preventable infant and childhood eye and vision disorders is provided to parents after a planned out-of-hospital birth.

Anyone who has been living in the United States for the past 10 years or longer or who has a Social Security Number (SSN) or IRS-issued Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) should initiate the background check.

We use the background-image: cover; which would cover the whole area of the container. This is responsive enough which will always covers the whole area. The only thing to consider here is that if your image size is smaller, it will be stretch out and if you have a bigger image, it will get cut off.

But to clarify, resizing your image will not resolve your background-image issue, the background-image is responsive in its own way. Your page will be viewed on different screen sizes and on portrait oriented mobile phones, the containers/section will respond to that sizes and so does the background-image.
